Stand By Me Doraemon 2 (Japanese: STAND BY ME ドラえもん 2 Sutando Bai Mī Doraemon 2) is a 2020 Japanese 3D computer animated science fiction comedy film based on the Doraemon manga chapter "Grandma's Memories" and Doraemon' s 2000 short film Doraemon: A Grandmother's Recollections and shortly based on Doraemon's 2002 short film The Day When I Was Born.

A cat-shaped robot, Doraemon, from the 22nd century. On the day of now when Doraemon and Nobita are together, Nobita finds a stuffed bear in the room. It was a memorable item that was repaired by a grandma who passed away in the kindergarten. Nobita, who remembered her grandma and no longer stopped tearing, suggested that he would like to go to see her with a time machine. Doraemon objected, but departed to Past, when Nobita was 3 years old, on condition that he would return as soon as he saw the situation without meeting directly!
It was Nobita who kept his feelings down and looked secretly from behind the scenes. A grandma who is astonished to see Nobita's appearance as an elementary school student and accepts him as gently as she did at that time. Then she suddenly murmured, "I wanted to see Nobita's bride at a glance."
Nobita and his friends went to go to the Future to show Nobita's bride. But, from pressure, Future Nobita ran away at the day of the wedding to the past! Leaving Future Shizuka, Gian, and Suneo setting out to find him!
Will Nobita and Doraemon solve this problem involving, Future, Present, and Past and put everything in order? Otherwise the future will set in stone?

Locations

Open Lot

The Open Lot, also known as Empty Lot in the English dub, is one of the recurring locations in the Doraemon series. It majorly appears in many of the manga chapters, episodes, and feature films. lIt is a plain lot with three stacked concrete culverts, sometimes with several planks, a large tree, some bushes and several pipes on the left. Looking at the grasses and the tree at the lot, the Open Lot looks like it hasn't been owned for some time now, although sometimes construction equipment will be placed here temporarily.

This place is an iconic location through out the series as the place where the gang often gather together, as well as the location for Gian's (deadly) concert. Kaminari's House is located on the right side of the area which the boys often throw a ball into his house (and break his window).

Bamboo Copter or Take-copter is a gadget of 22nd century which is mostly used by humans for flight.

Anywhere Door

The Anywhere Door is one of the most popular and frequently used gadgets in the series. Its prime function is to transport the user to whatever location they desire by walking through it..

  • One needs to say where they want to go going, then they can open the door and go through it to reach their destination.
  • However, it magically knows where the user wants to go.
  • The Anywhere Door's destination limits to the memory of locations it has been implemented, which means it does not record new areas automatically.

Time Machine

Time Machine is a gadget of 22nd Century which was created to do time travel.

  • Time Machine can be used to travel from one dimension to another. It can be used to travel to future and past.
  • It can also be used to travel to several locations existing in the same timeline.
  • One can try to change the incidents happened in the past or going to happen in the future by using this gadget.
